A dangerous gap
From my beginnings in Germany, where I completed my Ph.D. in Natural Sciences, I moved to New York in 2014 to continue my research at Columbia University, diving deep into Neuroscience and Immunology.
Yet, a transformative experience in Thailand shifted my perspective: true academia should touch real lives.
My life took another turn with the adoption of my GSD, Harvey. Navigating the dog training universe, I saw a disturbing divide—many trainers prioritized methods over empathy.
This inspired Canine Decoded - a brand that intertwines science, empathy, and simplicity.

We firmly believe in the innate potential and power that each dog owner and professional possesses to positively transform their lives with their dogs. Instead of being dependent on others to effect this change for them, we guide and assist owners in instigating the desired change themselves.
We are convinced that every dog owner or professional has the potential to become an expert in handling their dog. Moreover, we believe this does not necessitate years of study, but rather requires keen observation, effective troubleshooting, and the careful implementation of personalized strategies. We are here for all of it. Every. Single. Day.
